Technology

Technology is a body of knowledge used to create tools, develop skills and extract or collect materials. It is also the application of science to meet an objective or solve a problem. More broadly, technology can be used to refer to a way of doing something or a means of organisation: for instance, democracy might be considered a social technology. The key developments in technology today are happening in computers, nanotechnology, materials science, renewable energy, entertainment, space travel and medicine.
